the framing is wise because the water gives me the impression to enter a funnel with force and stir
Happy you liked it. Much appreciated
When I think of all the waterfall and river photos….this is just so much more, the light is extraordinary and the angle outs me right there. It’s like a wake-up call.
Thanks Lynn. I shot this with the 75mm m. Zuiko because it seemed to provide a compelling sense of “reach”
Oh no John, not the 75mm! But seriously, thanks for telling me. Maybe the price will come down… 😉 Sometimes it’s tricky to switch from a wider angle to a narrower one – to see differently in that way – and you did a masterful job here of using that narrower angle. More I can learn from.
(I guess you figured out the typo above).
A wonderful merger of place and light, vision and craft…beautiful image, John.
Thanks for such a nice comment, Mic.
The water appears alive in this image. It makes me want to drink directly from, dive into it, treat it more kindly!
Mercurial! Great shot, John
Thanks Peter
Yes, wonderful!
Thanks. 👍
Wow!
😊 Thanks. I miss rivers.
