Good comment. Most of the images I’ve posted since March have been taken along rail trails upstate, often on early morning rides like this one. It’s been fun figuring out an efficient way to carry all the gear with my camera safely strapped up front.
I was thinking about what you said Ed, and there is something suggesting clouds in those sunlit branches. Interesting!
I had to stop in my thoughts when I saw the picture. The road in the shade becomes a calmly flowing river in my mind.

I keep coming back to this to try to put into words what it does but I’m at a loss. The road does appear to go straight up and it morphs into a not-quite-river. There’s a Zoooom here! π
