  1. Magnificent!!!
    John you are magnificent!
Truly I see the beauty through your camera’s lens more than I do with my own eyes. There would not have been paintings from Monet, Van Gogh and all the others had they seen YOUR magnificent works.
Thank you so much for sharing.

  2. I sincerely appreciate being able to see the world through your lens, John, particularly the parts that I’m not able to experience first hand. To me, your shots inevitably convey a visually and emotionally engaging physical setting, as well as some fleeting moment, a temporary convergence of elements poised to dissolve. While I am enamored of your entire body of work, the “Solitary Structures” pieces resonate with me most. Your February Adirondack shots are unconventionally beautiful and arresting and I’ll be by to pick up the One-Room Schoolhouse this summer. Happy New Year, John.

    1. Thanks so much for such a thoughtful comment, Christopher.

Lone structures, such as the ones in this gallery have been tugging at me since my first roll of film. I’ll be at a show at Ashawagh Hall on Jan 18/19 .. please stop by if you’re around.
