Wow, Wharf Jam 1, 2 and 3 are minimalist wonders. They are high art at its best. One needs to remember they are photos and not paintings by James Rosenquist. Touché!!!
Rosenquist, who grew up in the Dakotas, seemed to have the gift for how to make negative space work when he needed it. Love his work; glad he had such a nice long run.
