The dunes and fence that could be escarpments, the strong contrasts, the sand, and the openness, all give it a southwestern feeling for me.
I often think of Utah and New Mexico and places like Coral Pink Sand Dunes when I’m shooting at the beach.
And vice versa… 😊
Maybe that helps you see the patterns for what they are, more abstractly.
