A masterful conception of the importance of light for a living image, as usual seen with my eyes ….
Good comment. The lens directed to river light is in the flow.
Great shot! I see it, hear it and feel it.
Thanks Ed; good to hear 👍🏻
Marvelous shot, John!
Good to hear from you Harrie… thx
Golden sun in black and white – really beautiful, John. A gem.
Interesting how this scene has totally different wiring once it’s monochrome. Thanks for such a nice comment.
I was thinking that I wouldn’t have even thought of trying it in black and white. It just goes to show you that it’s always good to try things.
I did get an assist here from those soft river shadows. It was a wonderful display of light.
I’m impressed by how you make sunlight visible in a black and white landscape, John.
One of my favorite Catskill streams flowing through the heart of the park providing soothing, instant coolness on hot summer days. This picture awakens the senses to it’s allure. Listen to it, feel it on your ankles and wrists. Great shot.
Thanks brother P
Rivers of New York State… there’s another idea for a collaborative book effort. 😉
