      1. I’ve never printed on metal myself but have seen some in shows/galleries and they seem to really impart a depth to certain images that paper just doesn’t seem to capture. There’s something about the combination of crispness and softness in this one that makes me think it would look stunning on metal.

        1. Same here. I haven’t made metal prints but I’ve seen them at shows and I agree, this image lends itself to the presentation. What’s most interesting to me is that metal (and canvas) prints are allowing people to scale up images to sizes that were unimaginable twenty years ago. Because of that we’re at a place where size seems to be impacting what pictures mean (which can be a good thing), but in other instances it seems only related to what you can sell them for.
