This is gorgeous – the plant looks like it flung those bits of grass up and away. The light is beautiful. I like the faint marks from the receding waves, too. I look at those a lot here and have tried to photograph them. It’s tricky, they are so subtle.
I don’t know – I don’t think I’ve ever heard of it. I probably was not very aware of different seaweeds and other coastal plants when I lived in NY. Thanks for mentioning that.
