    1. This White Pine would be considered a huge tree anywhere east of the Rockies, but it’s nowhere close to your giants in Washington State. Lens and angle are conveying a sense of enormity here, I think.

      A plug here for NY: the Adirondacks actually have more acres of remaining old growth forest than anywhere else in the east.
