  1. Isn’t it wonderful how we humans can find beauty in so many places. So glad you found this: the wrinkles, the tear, the rust, the patina of the iron, all lovely. Hope you stayed in the shipyard a good long time and will show us more.

    1. Thanks Linda. This was a lone favorite image from the shipyard, but I do have a group of macro-abstractions in the queue– details from weathered styrofoam lobster buoys that I’ve been working on this week.

      Your wonderful work also provides plenty of evidence that beauty resides in unexpected places.

  2. I can’t tell if this depicts a flat surface or three-dimensional one (probably the latter) but the tension between the two makes it a very special image for me. It also has the feel of an abstract painting which is another reason I like it so much.
