    I am a fan of your photos and luckily I have a few . Thank you so much of showing us our world in a “different light“. For me , as an art restorer, this photo looks like a still life of the 17/18 century — – they did black and white paintings ,too. Thank you for letting us see the the beauty of our surrounding world, we need to be reminded of it every day before the contrast hits in. Ulrike v. Lehsten Southampton

    1. Many thanks Ulrike, I’m happy you see connections with historic still life paintings. To me, the treatments of these pieces had an elegiac quality, and I was hoping to suggest something of both flowering and decay.
