  1. This one could be entitled “High Peaks Peek.” This is a great “peek” into the West of the East, the vast, often overlooked Adirondack Park. The opening in the canopy affords an impressive view of that impressive conifer in the distance. It has a timeless quality that, in the case of the Adirondacks, with impressive old growth acreage remaining, is accurate.

      Sadly, the western states still have a lot to learn from New York State’s 125 years of conservation in Adirondack Park…specifically as regards the meaning of “forever wild.”
