Grazie Marta- non sono sicuro di come dirlo- “fattoria allagata”? I colori sono stati molto interessanti… Bella sera per te.
Always wonderful….inspiring works…smiles hedy ☺
Wow– really appreciate that Hedy. 🙂 Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Thank you for sharing! ☺
Very nice– clean abstract
Thanks Jim … Hardscrabble farm, right after yesterday’s deluge
Marvelous — the lines of the fence reflected in the water and echoed in the field; the play of vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines; and a certain surprising tension in the composition. I second TramedIpensieri’s “Wow!”
Much appreciate the comment. It was interesting how those things you mentioned became amplified by selecting a longer focal length.
Yet it doesn’t have a telephoto feel for me which makes it all the better.
Interesting. I seem to be increasingly moving toward those focal lengths for landscapes (I guess I prefer the way they “play the score”).
You are the East End Master, John! Just gorgeous, and there’s so much for the eye to linger on.
Thanks so much Lynn. 🙂
I’d have to say this is one of my favorite color photographs this year. I shot a few variations of this scene yesterday and it was interesting to note the way the longer focal length seemed to coax the piece into a more abstract place.
That’s interesting – I know I need to go out and try the same scene at different focal lengths so I get a better sense of when to try what.
Wonderful reflections and framing, John. An elegant image.
Much appreciated! Nice to hear from you Simon.
Absolutely stunning!
Really appreciate that. Great to hear from you again!
