…another solitary hull from the West, this time, with both doors “drawn” in the face of an impending storm. (It’s been an especially long ride, as evidenced by the number of bullet holes in the rear of the cab.)
The scene is framed in the stark shades of basin and range–a look which defines much of what you see in Nevada and western Utah.
In this sort of desolation, one thinks of La Resa Dei Conti, the incomparable theme from Ennio Morricone.
