Much like the floating docks from the previous post, this is an image pulled from an especially soupy fog. The shack can still be found beneath the conspicuous radio tower in Napeague on eastern Long Island. The 300 foot tall communications structure (sometimes known as the Mackay Radio Tower) was decommissioned in 1984. To the north is the Art Barge, and the surrounding area is part of Napeague State Park. Several shacks have been perched in the salt marsh for decades, accompanied by a peerless troupe of poles and slack wire.
